Award at Poetry Film Festival
Art Visuals and Poetry International Film Festival in Vienna was the perfect place to screen Taniel, among so many excellent poetry-inspired films. It was very special to be in beautiful Vienna (and we even had time for some museum and exhibition visits), and show our film in a festival so lovingly and exquisitely curated by Sigrun Höllrigl.
Taking place in the beautiful METRO Kinokulturhaus, over 3 days a number of poetry films and animations were screened, and we immensely enjoyed being there and meeting filmmakers and organisers. A special treat was to be reunited with Yegya Akgun, the voice of Taniel in the film, who arrived from Istanbul for the festival. We were also very grateful to the members of the community and the Armenian Ambassador who attended the screening.
To top all that, it was wonderful to end the festival with the International Audience Award and return to London full of memories and impressions.
