Directing award in Cyprus

It was very special to screen ”Taniel” in Cyprus in Nobember 2019, the country that the director Garo Berberian’s parents are from and have a very warm welcome and a lively Q&A. Thank you for having us Cyprus International Film Festival – Golden Aphrodite CYIFF.

And while we were in Vienna for the Poetry Film Festival, we heard the lovely news from Cyprus that – ‘Taniel’ has won the Best Direction award. Very special to receive an award from a country that the director Garo Berberian is so connected to.
