An intimate screening and a poetry session
‘Taniel” had an unusual venue for its screening in the beginning of October – the elegant St. Sarkis church in High Street Kensington and it was truly special to share the film with the London audience in the packed church. Many thanks to everyone who attended, supported and had kind words for us and of course, Armenian Institute for organising the event and the lovely reception afterwards.
Special thanks go to our beautiful poetry readers, bringing Varoujan’s words alive in a session curated by literary producer Tatevik Ayvazyan. It was incredible to have 10 people of all ages and backgrounds united in their appreciation and love of poetry. At the end of the evening – and despite his earlier claims that he’d lost his voice – director Garo Berberian managed to answer all the questions.
